Complaints Procedure

1. Introduction
Owusu & Partners Global Limited is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and service across its operations. We take all complaints seriously and aim to address concerns promptly, fairly, and constructively.

Owusu & Partners Global Limited is an International Legal Management Group incorporated in England and Wales. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal services, legal advice or legal representation. All legal services are provided by our Associate Members, who practise independently and are individually responsible for the legal services they provide and for compliance with their applicable professional and regulatory obligations.

It is important to distinguish between:
• complaints concerning the legal services of an individual Associate Member; and
• complaints concerning the administrative operations of Owusu & Partners Global Limited.

This procedure distinguishes between both.

Complaints relating to legal services may be subject to different legal, professional and regulatory frameworks depending on the jurisdiction in which the relevant Associate Member practises.

2. Complaints About Legal Services
Any complaint regarding legal advice, representation, professional conduct, or legal services provided by an Associate Member should be raised in the first instance through Owusu & Partners Global, in accordance with the complaints procedure provided to the Client.

Each Associate Member is individually responsible for their own legal practice and is required to maintain their own complaints procedure in accordance with the rules of their relevant regulatory body.

Owusu & Partners Global may assist with the administration and coordination of the complaints process, but is not responsible for investigating or determining complaints relating to an Associate Member’s legal services or professional conduct and cannot overturn or review decisions made by an Associate Member regarding their legal work.

If a complaint is not resolved, the Client may escalate the matter to the relevant professional, regulatory, disciplinary or ombudsman body in the jurisdiction in which the Associate Member practises, subject to any applicable procedures, eligibility requirements and time limits.

Associate Members practising in England and Wales are regulated by the Bar Standards Board where applicable. Associate Members practising in other jurisdictions are regulated by the relevant professional or regulatory body applicable to their jurisdiction.

We can provide details of the appropriate regulatory body upon request.

Owusu & Partners Global Limited is not responsible for investigating or determining complaints relating to legal services and cannot overturn or review decisions made by an Associate Member regarding their legal work.

5. Confidentiality
All complaints are handled with appropriate confidentiality and respect for all parties involved. Information will only be shared where necessary to investigate and resolve the matter fairly.

6. Escalation
If you remain dissatisfied following our internal process in relation to an administrative matter, you may wish to seek independent legal or professional advice, depending upon the nature of your complaint.

Depending on the nature of your complaint, you may also have the right to pursue remedies through the courts of England and Wales.

For complaints relating to data protection or privacy concerning our activities as a UK-based entity, you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Data protection complaints relating to the activities of Associate Members may fall under the jurisdiction of the relevant data protection authority in their practising jurisdiction.

We aim to resolve all complaints efficiently and fairly.

7. Continuous Improvement
Owusu & Partners Global Limited values feedback and treats complaints as an opportunity to improve its operations, processes, and overall service.

All complaints are reviewed internally as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards across our operations.
